Seedsavers September 2014
On the 26th of September 5th class went to Seedsavers in Scariff,Co.Clare. Our tour guides were called Veronica and Aine and then we headed off to taste some apples. Out of all the apples The White Moss was the favourite. We all got a clipboard and in groups we filled them out. Then we went to the woods and our guides showed us the different trees around Seedsavers. After that we did some bark rubbing. We then headed off to make some apple juice. When we were making the apple juice Veronica showed us the process of making the apple juice. Some people loved the apple juice but other people didn’t find it as nice. While one group were making the apple juice the other group were doing some seedsaving with Aine. It was a brilliant tour and everyone really enjoyed it!!!
